The contest has drawn approximately 20,000 entries to date for a Unitree R1 Basic humanoid robot valued at $8,990.

The winner will be selected during a live drawing on September 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm PST at Odoo 2026, America’s Leading Tech and Business Event, during Toborlife AI CEO and Founder David Schulhof’s speaking engagement at the conference. The drawing will be live-streamed on the Toborlife AI YouTube channel.

What the R1 Can Do
The Unitree R1 Basic is an entry point for people curious about what a humanoid robot actually looks and moves like.
