Jessica Ramirez, Attorney and Advocate, Joins Adam’s Law: From Public Service to the People’s Voice

Jessica Ramirez, Attorney, brings her legal background, personal journey, and commitment to helping others to her new role as law clerk on Adam’s Law

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Real people. Real conflicts. Real consequences. Adam’s Law brings a fresh perspective to legal television when the new series, produced by Judge Judy Sheindlin, premieres September 14 at 3:30 p.m. EST on CBS. Jessica Ramirez joins the program as its law clerk, drawing on her legal experience, personal journey, and passion for advocacy to offer insight and perspective throughout the show.

For Ramirez, joining Adam’s Law is a natural extension of a life shaped by determination, public service, and a commitment to helping others.

“I am excited about this opportunity to be part of Adam’s Law. I want to be an advocate for others and show them that dreams are possible. Judge Adam is fierce, honest, and dedicated to uncovering the real story. I am proud to be part of this because I am here to help usher in the voice of the people,” says Ramirez.

Ramirez’s personal journey has shaped the way she approaches advocacy and public service. Born in Puerto Rico, she immigrated to the mainland United States as a young girl, arriving unable to speak English but determined to build a better future.

“I came to this country as a little girl unable to speak the language, but I was determined to make it somehow,” explains Ramirez. “My life is a testament to those who still believe in the American dream and the opportunities America has to offer.”

That determination would eventually lead Ramirez into law, public service, and politics. An American attorney and former Democratic Party politician, she served as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 32nd Legislative District from 2024 to 2026. Throughout her career, Ramirez has built her work around advocacy and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As the show’s law clerk, Ramirez offers legal insight, advice, and her own perspective as conversations unfold. Her role also brings attention to the real-life experiences behind the legal questions and issues explored on the program.

“I want people to know that they matter,” says Ramirez. “If I can use my experiences to help someone feel seen, heard, or understood, then I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing.”
