APM Music and Berklee College of Music today announced the launch of the Berklee Music Library, a first-of-its kind collegiate production music catalog.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- APM Music, co-owned by Sony Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing Group, and Berklee College of Music today announced the launch of the Berklee Music Library, a first-of-its kind collegiate production music catalog featuring tracks written and recorded by students at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. The APM-Berklee catalog is now available for licensing worldwide at www.apmmusic.com.

This partnership gives current and future Berklee students, as well as recent alumni, hands-on experience in production music and sync licensing, along with opportunities to earn income and reach global audiences. For APM's community of music supervisors, producers, editors, and its network, studio, sports, gaming, brand and advertising agency clients, it opens a new pipeline of distinctive emerging talent, grounded in human creativity and expert curation through Berklee’s music program.

"Great music begins in the classroom—and deserves a pathway into the world.," said Adam Taylor, President and CEO of APM Music. "Berklee has always been at the forefront of identifying and developing exceptional talent. Together, we are giving emerging creators a real seat at the table while giving music supervisors an exciting source of distinctive, human-made music."

"At Berklee, we seek out partnerships that turn creative growth into professional momentum," said Stefanie Henning, Vice President, Career Strategy and Services. "This partnership gives our students the chance to build industry experience, earn income, and bring their music to a global audience. Working with APM is a unique and powerful opportunity for our students and creates a rare and powerful bridge between the classroom and the marketplace."

In partnership with Berklee’s Career Center, the program is led by Dr. LaMarcus Miller, executive director of The Syncubator and professor of voice at Berklee, alongside Hayley Thompson-King, associate professor of voice and director of operations of The Syncubator. Miller brings extensive experience in music supervision, music clearance, and industry leadership, with credits including Jim Henson Idea Man (Disney+), Choir (Disney+), The Wonder Years (ABC), RapCaviar Presents (Hulu), the Little League World Series (ESPN), and the independent film The Compatriots. He previously served as head of operations for the Guild of Music Supervisors, where he led the Guild's Hip-Hop 50 celebration at the 2023 State of Music in Media Conference. He currently serves on the Guild's Education Committee.

Originating from the Student Sync Club, Miller established The Syncubator as an industry-driven pipeline where students and alumni navigate the full music licensing ecosystem, from songwriting and production to A&R, catalog management, marketing, engineering, and operations, preparing them for careers on both the creative and business sides of the industry.

"This partnership represents the future of contemporary music education," says Miller. "Together with APM, we're cultivating the next generation of songwriters, producers, music supervisors, A&R professionals, and creative executives. It's a collaboration that equips emerging creators with relevant, paid professional experience while introducing the global industry to the next generation of superlative talent."

The first two releases from the Berklee Music Library “Modern American Voices” and “A Berklee Christmas,” feature contemporary arrangements of well-known favorites in the public domain, like “Yankee Doodle” and “Deck the Halls.” This merging of musical heritage and modern production styles breathes new life into the songs while exposing them to a new generation of listeners. Future releases will continue to showcase emerging talent from the Berklee community with a focus on sharing their artistic voices and cultural backgrounds.
